Drifta is proud to announce the first release on his new label, Waxfarmer Recordings. ‘Give Him Quarter’ is an impressive slab of found sound composition by Philadelphia-based producer and RMS member Pigeonbread. Recorded in the underground tunnels of Philadelphia, ‘Give Him Qarter’ uses distant train sirens, disconnected vocals, and shuffling percussion to create an evolving, rhythmic soundscape. The Drifta remix steps up the energy with rolling drums, deep sub bass and floating keys.

The track is available on a “pay as you wish” basis, which means it’s technically free! In June 2010, Waxfarmer Recordings will release this track as an extremely limited edition vinyl dubplate w/ collector’s edition packaging.
